RN – BSN Residency

For those accepted into the RN-BSN residency, tuition for the GW BSN program is paid by GW Hospital. In exchange, residents commit to fulfilling 3 years of employment at GW Hospital following graduation from the BSN program.

Building on the ADN curriculum of the NOVA program plus specific requirements for general education courses, the GW BSN program requires an additional 21 credits of coursework—these courses are delivered online—and the completion of a professional portfolio providing 15 credits for advanced standing and competency as a nurse.

Students enrolled in the RN-BSN Residency are mentored by members of GW SON’s faculty to enhance their learning experience and effectiveness as new nurses.
