Educational Leadership and Administration Graduate Certificate

Further your leadership abilities in education with the holistic understanding of curriculum design, motivation, support and innovation in instruction gained through a Post-Master’s Certificate in Educational Leadership and Administration. Through coursework and two internships, you will build a broader foundation in leadership and management, change, communication, administration, supervision, human relations and policy and legal issues.

 

Completion of this certificate may prepare qualified candidates for principal or administrator licensure. This program also includes coursework and field experiences designed to meet administrative certification requirements in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and other states that honor interstate compact agreements.

 

The certificate is designed for students who hold a master’s degree and the program gives you the opportunity to gain credentials in as little as one year. Students who wish to pursue the Graduate Certificate have the option to transfer these credit hours into the online Education Specialist (EdS) in Educational Leadership and Administration program.
