GW’s Online Ph.D. in Systems Engineering provides broad knowledge of the comprehensive systems approach for designing and managing large-scale engineering systems throughout the life cycle, with faculty and students exploring topics including elements of systems engineering, methods and standards, architecting, computer tools that support systems engineering, trends and directions, and the integrative nature of systems engineering.

A Format that Works for You

A program designed for working adults, classes and research meetings are scheduled on Saturdays. This allows you to pursue your education while maintaining other work and home commitments. The program is designed so that you can receive your Doctor of Philosophy degree in 3 years.
